Haske Water Aid and Empowerment Foundation is excited to implement six Clean Water Projects in six geopolitical zones of Nigeria, sponsored by Union Bank and Employees, which will benefit over 20,000 people with Clean Water. Clean water is a major factor in containing the spread of COVID-19. The six geopolitical zones include:
South West: Lagos
South East: Enugu
South South : Delta
North East: Yobe
North West : Kano
North Central: Abuja
The boreholes will provide potable water which is crucial to preventing the spread of Covid 19 Pandemic.
Haske Water Aid and Empowerment Foundation was founded for the purpose of providing potable water and Leadership capacity building for young people.
It was founded by Chibuzor Mirian Azubuike after her impactful borehole project during her National Youth Service in 2012 that provided potable water for 6,000 people for the first time.
We have sunk boreholes that have directly provided potable water for over 15 000 people.
These projects are located in Enugu, Ebonyi, Sokoto, Abuja, Bayelsa, Kano, Zamfara, Jigawa and Bauchi, have helped to stop problems related to lack of portable water which include, diseases, deaths, raping women/girls who walk long distances to fetch water etc.
We are happy about this milestone and we look forward to working on more projects.
