PROJECT DETAILS
- Igbesa Borehole Project
Igbesa Borehole Project Report; We at Haske Water Aid and Empowerment Foundation implement a borehole water project in Igbesa community in Ogun state. The community is made up of seven (7) streets, it has a population of over 2000 people, mostly women, children, and the elderly. Their only source of water are local shallow wells and a stagnant swamp which is also important for them to source for their livelihood and their business, but struggle during the dry season when the well dries up.
We collaborated with Samaad Global Farm and conducted a series of surveys including a geophysical survey and we met with the village head and the entire community who were in turn happy to receive us into their homes and they contributed immensely to the success of the Borehole Project. The new borehole benefits about Two Thousand persons (2000).
- Ebonyi Water Project
Ebonyi Water Project in Ndiegu Okpe Umuimama Community. We at Haske Water Aid and Empowerment Foundation implemented a Borehole Project in Ndiegu Okpe Umuimama Community in Ebonyi State. The Community is made up of Five (5) neighboring villages and has a population of over One Thousand, Two Hundred (1200) people, mostly women, Children and the Elderly. Their only source of water is pond water which is also important for them to source for their livelihood and their business. During the dry season, the pond dries up.
We collaborated with Jonkel Nigeria Company and took charge of sponsoring the Borehole Project in the Community. We conducted a series of surveys, including geophysics. We met with the village head and the entire Community, who were in turn gladly receiving us into their abodes and they contributed toward the successful achievement of the borehole project.
The new borehole would benefit about One Thousand Two-Hundred (1,200) persons.
