2. Hope Spring Water Nigeria

PROJECT DETAILS

1.  Chetachi Okonkwo
During her service year in Sokoto, she came across a village with about 5,000 people in Kaura Community located in Wamakko Local Government Area of Sokoto State. The major and only source of drinking, cooking and washing water in this community comes from dilapidated/contaminated wells where their animals also drink from. This poses a great risk to their health and lives.
We worked with her to sink a motorised borehole with overhead tank.

2. Hope Water Spring
Ngwongwo community in Ebonyi State main source of water is the rivers, which are most times polluted by mining activities ongoing in the community. The highly populated community with about 5,000 inhabitants, was in dire need of clean water to curb outbreak of water-related diseases which is common in the community, mainly as a result of mining activities in the community.
In partnership with Hope Water Spring, we sank a borehole for the community.

3. Other Project
Prefect Leadership Training. We facilitated a highly impactful prefect leadership training at the prestigious Corona Secondary School Lagos. August 2019.
We shared stories of our work about providing water for rural communities, to encourage them to interested in community service.
